I just couldn't get the other color combo option for my #midcoastsweater out of my head, so I knit a hat using the yoke motif. I love the hat and now I can wear both combos! ππππ§Άπ . . Using this colorwork motif to knit a hat rather than a sweater led me to the π€―AH-HA moment that yoked sweaters have motifs with increases, and if you work the chart upside down, substituting in decreases for the increases, you have hat crown decreases! Isn't knitting so.very.amazing!?! π➿ . ➿Colorwork motif is from the #midcoastsweater pattern by @knit.love.wool modified to be a hat . . #fairislefriday #strandedknitting #colorJOY #knittersofinstagram #knitstagram #knitspiration #knittinglove #strikkedilla https://ift.tt/2DcyYPO
